Cinque Terre ferry schedule and rates
The Cinque Terre Ferry is great opportunity to fully enjoy the beauty of this unique coastline and the Gulf of Poets.
The ferry daily ticket can be purchased directly at the front desk, in order for you to avoid queuing at the pier and enjoy our breakfast till last second.
The boats stop in all villages except Corniglia, because it’s the only one without docking and, if you have several days, we would suggest you to dedicate this tour to visit the islands and Porto Venere, perhaps with a side trip to Lerici leaving the Cinque Terre for another day.
Otherwise, you can visit Porto Venere as a first stage, because the town has no train station. You can get off the boat to visit the other villages on the way back. You can also mix with the train to visit Corniglia and /or return later.
The Cinque Terre ferry schedule from March 30th to April 19th
From April 20th to September 29th
The 40 minutes tour of the Islands – Palmaria, Tino and Tinetto – to be done with a smaller boat once in Porto Venere. In our opinion it’s worth the price, even only to feel a little like a poet, such as George Sand and his De Musset or Lord Byron.
We also recommend to leave with the earliest ferry in the morning and visit Lerici as well!!
Cinque Terre Ferry rates
The daily tickets costs 35€ (18€ for kids from 6 to 11 years old) and includes unlimited trips in between the five villages and Porto Venere. The afternoon ticket costs 26€ (15€ for kids), but we think it’s not worth it: you have no time to visit any village… it might be a good option only if you simply want to get an idea of our coastline.
If you prefer to only visit Cinque Terre, you can get a limited daily ticket at 28€ (15€ for kids). The afternoon option costs 23€ (13€ for kids).

Our tips to enjoy your trip on the Cinque Terre Ferry
Offshore is chilly, so better to provide something to cover you, but more important, the white of the boat and the sun glare on the sea can be burning … do not forget sunglasses and sunscreen!
