Better for your skin, kinder to the planet, nicer to use

At Oasi Eco Boutique Hotel in Levanto, we pay attention to the details that shape your stay, including the ones you might not think about until you’re here: the products in your bathroom.

Our goal is simple: great-quality toiletries that feel luxurious, while reducing unnecessary waste wherever possible. That is why we combine solid, packaging-free soaps with carefully selected dispensers and refill systems, and why we have introduced a new scent collection for 2026 that many guests fall in love with after the first shower.

The handcrafted solid soap bars you will find in your room

Depending on the room you have chosen, you will find these two options:

  • Egyptian musk (they are the orange ones) and sandalwood (yellow)
  • prickly pear (in pink) and fleur d'iris (in purple)

You will also find sandalwood and prickly pear soaps at reception, in larger sizes, to buy as a keepsake, a gift, or because you'll fall in love with them!

The soap bars are made with artisanal procedures, and minor imperfections, such as slightly different dimensions or small cracks, are characteristic.

What we like about them

These soaps are made artisanally and are free from preservatives, parabens and palm oil, and they are described as vegan, cruelty-free, allergen-free and SLS-free.
Small variations in shape are normal because they are handmade.

The ingredients: Sodium Cocoate, Aqua, Glycerin, Coconut Acid, Parfum *, CI19140, Sodium Sulfate, Sodium Chloride, Tetrasodium Etidronate, Pentesodium Pentetate. They are produced by Officina Cosmetica Antichi Ricordi

Solid shampoo and conditioner (for guests who want to go plastic-free)

If you have ever thought about switching to solid haircare, we completely understand the appeal. Solid products travel well, last a long time, and help reduce the need for plastic bottles. In our hotel, we also offer selected solid shampoo and conditioner options at reception.

The solid hair products we have chosen untangle even the most unruly locks (in this case, my natural curls were the test bench), a real panacea after a summer of sun and sea or walking along paths soaked in the brackish.
They leave hair soft and shiny.

They are natural, cold-saponified, made with rapidly biodegradable surfactants, and plastic-free.

These are the ones we have chosen to keep in the hotel:

  • shampoo for curly hair (obviously!), based on coconut and macadamia nuts, which you will recognize by its yellow colour
  • shampoo for frequent washing, based on Egyptian musk, in orange
  • conditioner for curly or brittle hair, based on argan and macadamia nuts, in orange
  • conditioner for frequent washing, based on fleur d'iris, in purple colour

The duration of a single "bar of soap"? Up to 6 months with daily use and beyond if you don't wash your hair every day.

A solid cosmetic is still a good idea because it does not need a plastic bottle to contain it (also reducing emissions related to transport due to its low weight), it does not have water, a commodity too precious to be wasted and allows you to use very little product and dose it perfectly without risking pouring more than necessary.

New in the showers: Spicy Thyme by The Botanist & The Chemist

For 2026, we have introduced a new line in our bathrooms: Spicy Thyme, available in the showers and paired with a matching cream by the sink.

What is Spicy Thyme?

Thyme is a plant rich in essential oils with antioxidant and purifying properties. Its essence is described as energising and stimulating for the mind and body, with an  intense, warming, and slightly spicy aroma.

Where will you find it in the bathroom

In the shower: Spicy Thyme shower products

By the washbasin: the matching hand and body cream (placed next to the sink, so it’s easy to use after washing your hands)

Why we chose it

The Botanist & The Chemist positions the line as 95% natural ingredients, and states that its beauty products are vegan and cruelty-free.
We also love the brand’s mood: “natural alchemy for hair, body, and soul”, where “20th-century charm meets 21st-century skincare”.

Sustainability, in practice: packaging, refills and materials

Sustainability in a hotel bathroom is not just about “good intentions”. It is about systems.

Our amenities partners at La Bottega describe a strategy built around:

  • recycled and recyclable packaging, reducing single-use waste
  • using alternative materials such as ceramic, aluminium and glass to reduce plastic impact
  • production processes designed to minimise waste and emissions
  • laboratories certified by ICEA for Eco and Bio cosmetics production
  • dispenser systems (including “invisible” options) designed to help reduce plastic waste and support a more controlled, hygienic use of products
