Get ready to immerse yourself in the XXXIII edition of the Levanto Music Festival, also known as the Massimo Amfiteatrof Festival. This summer, the organisers are bringing back a tradition that has been enriching our lives since its inception, and we can't wait to share it with you!
Since its inception in 1992, the Amfiteatrof Music Festival has stood as a poignant testament to the enduring bond between Levanto and the legendary cellist, Massimo Amfiteatrof. This heartfelt tribute to his memory was first held in the intimate setting of the Annunciation Convent's small cloister, marking the beginning of a rich cultural tradition.
While the festival's main hub has often been the churchyard of St. Andrew, the magic of the music will also resonate in other iconic Levanto spots. From the medieval Loggia to the Ospitalia auditorium, and even the Square della Compera, each venue promises a unique and unforgettable musical experience.
Levanto Music Festival, the program
The Levanto Music Festival, for more than a quarter of a century one of the biggest summer musical events in Italy, changed its name last season and is now directed by Laura Canale, Tiziana Canfori and Fausto Cosentino.
