Book Worry-Free: Best Rate, Insured is our best direct price, with breakfast and BeSafe travel insurance included, so you can book your stay in Levanto knowing that, if something unexpected happens, you are covered from the moment you book until you check out.

What has changed

If you read the earlier version of this post, you may remember that we used to include travel cover with every rate, and that we issued vouchers for cancelled bookings. Today the cover comes with one dedicated rate, Book Worry-Free: Best Rate, Insured, and we no longer issue vouchers. Our standard rates follow their own cancellation terms, which you will find here.

How the rate works

Our best direct price, prepaid: the full amount of your stay is charged when you book.
Minimum stay: 2 nights.
When you can book it: up to 14 days before arrival.
Which accommodation: all hotel rooms, the Family Flat and our holiday apartment in Vernazza.
Breakfast: included for hotel rooms; not included for the Family Flat or the Vernazza apartment.
Travel insurance: included in the price.
Where: only on oasihotel.eu, not on Booking.com or other online travel agencies.

The hotel does not refund this rate and does not issue vouchers. If you have to cancel for a documented reason covered by the policy, the insurer refunds you directly: 100% of the amount paid in the event of death, injury or illness requiring hospitalisation, and 85% for all other covered reasons, because of a 15% excess. That is exactly what makes it reliable: the cover does not depend on our goodwill, but on a policy issued in your name.

What the cover includes

The insurance is provided by MAPFRE Asistencia and AXA through BeSafe, which also gives you dedicated customer care before, during and after your stay. In summary, it includes:

Cancellation up to the day of check-in for documented, unforeseen reasons such as illness (COVID-19 included), hospitalisation, injury, cancelled annual leave, redundancy or a new job, unexpected work commitments or damage to your home.
24-hour travel assistance and medical expenses during your stay.
Luggage, theft and roadside assistance, from arrival to departure.
Outdoor activities such as hiking: accident cover, third-party liability and rescue costs, up to the age of 75, plus a refund for services you could not use because of an injury.
Trip interruption if you have to cut your stay short because you, a family member or a travel companion fall ill, are hospitalised or die.
A refund of your first night if you arrive late because of a breakdown, an accident or a natural event.

Why it makes sense on this stretch of coast

The Cinque Terre are beautiful and, on foot, demanding. Paths are steep, often rocky, and can close after heavy rain. How to make a claim

After booking you receive your insurance certificate by email. If you need to cancel or make a claim, submit it directly to the insurer at refundandgo.com within 30 days of the event, together with the supporting documents.
